Bert Schoeren studied Industrial Design engineering, Technical University of Delft and started after graduation to work as an exhibit designer at the Nemo, Science en Technology Centre in Amsterdam, a museum/theme park where visitors can play interactively with exhibits. The second floor was his responsibility which had the theme Energy. He designed amongst others wind, solar and water exhibits. The first step towards kinetic sculptures. Art and design, objects in public space especially street furniture was the next step.
